THE KOOTENAY

A vibrant turquoise and pristine wild river in a remote corner of British Columbia wilderness. The crew got off work at 5 pm on Friday and made the 9-hour trek Northbound in two trucks towing two rafts to squeeze in as many river kilometers as we could before work on Tuesday morning. THE MOUNTAIN IN MY MIND

In early 2022 I played a minor role in the making of this film and traveled to British Columbia & Utah to spend time with Audrey Friess and Clare Chapman, two skiers that are not only talented athletes but also incredible human beings - as they shared their mental health stories.

The ski industry is no doubt a tough one to be in, but thanks to people like Audrey and Clare, I’m constantly reminded of why I choose to keep showing up here.

I want to send out a well-deserved shoutout to my super-talented friends that I had the privilege to work alongside this past winter, Kyle Dudgeon and Jordan Skattum - you guys rock.

As well as say a huge thank you to the small but mighty team at Gastro Gnome Meals. It truly takes a village to make things happen and I could not be more grateful for those who have given me their support.
